I find myself wondering what this means to me. As I listen to our current president call democrats treasonous because they choose not to applaud during his State of the Union. Does this mean that Republicans were treasonous when they didn’t applaud Pres. Obama during his State of the Union address? If Donald Trump didn’t want to be president he should not have run or accepted the nomination. His presidency is a farce. I truly feel that he ran to promote his brand, Trump. His many trips to Mar A Lago cement this idea for me. It doesn’t appear he has any interest in governance, but just act on whims and recommendations from friends. I still find no specific policies other than dismantle any and everything that President Obama’s administration set in place. It is sad to think that racial bias and prejudice has reached out highest office, but as our current president attacked the prior because of his name and color of his skin under the guise of the location of his birth, I can’t deny the simple injustice. I wish a return of diplomacy and professionalism to our highest office. I hope our president will learn to what it means to be Commander in Chief. Our position in the world is gone, lowered as we allowed this fallacious administration to overcome our democracy. I think for me presidential means to work towards fairness, to be a representative, to speak for all Americans not just the few who agree, but for those who dissent. Presidential, American, Patriot….
